I'm new at this...I have two plants and...
Not sure if this is it, but a common mistake that beginners make is overwatering. This will cause droopy leaves which then start curling down. The plants like to get a little dry between waterings, if it's always wet you will eventually have problems.
And yes, don't forget that you have two different plants, so don't expect them to behave the same, they won't.

When I bought them they had a couple dead lookin edges (slightly), is that normal? The owner of the place just took some scissors and cut one of the dead parts and acted like it was no biggie. (which makes me cringe) I made the two plants a home out of styrafome on the side of my house, and I hung a 120 watt compact flourescent bulb in the center. Planted the babies in Miracle Grow Moisture Control potting soil. And watered Rating: 5
