can nutrient in the res. evaporate?
How big is the res? Does the water level drop substantially? What combination of nutrients are you using? What's the mixing and pH testing process? What's your pH? How much does it drop and in what time frame? Way more details are required.
But an answer to your question.. I'd say no.

can nutrient in the res. evaporate?
it all depends where u have ur res man.
avoisly if its in ur growroom with high temps id have to say of course it will.
most growers i know that keep a res keep it out of the growroom that way its not directly in the light /heat so no evap... well very little.
a lid can help man

can nutrient in the res. evaporate?
no - the nutrients in the rez cannot evaporate out, but the water will.

Hopefully your plants are using it!
A ph shift is a good thing, btw.
Just my 2 cents.
