New in Southwest CO area
Hi all, my name is Linda and I am new to MMC here in Salida area. I am actually going to meet with a pain management specialist in Denver. I was told that i have to meet with them first and they will review all my med records and then i will get my card.
I am trying to find places in my area or a caregiver so that I do not have to travel to Denver. Plus learn all of the basics.
I have had over 6 back surgeries with more to come. I am in chronic pain 24/7 and am so tired of taking the pain pills. I really hope to get some relief, I also have severe arthritis now because of all of this.
I would like to know what the costs are? what equiptment i might need or training. DO they do all of that at this clinic?
Sorry this post is so long, I would love to hear from others in Colorado too.
Thank you so muchgoatmom Reviewed by goatmom on . New in Southwest CO area Hi all, my name is Linda and I am new to MMC here in Salida area. Hey goatmom, I sent you a PM. Click on it a where it says cannabis.com in the very upper left and then on that page you can find your inbox, it's a little hidden on this site. I'm from the Colorado Springs area and I know of several dispensaries around here. May be closer to you than Denver and Grand Junction.
Depending on whether you want to grow or not I would recommend different dispensaries because the most professional one with the highest quality organic medicine at the best price does not have clones for sale or anything of that nature, but they have grams for 12.50 and ounces for $350. You can find cheaper ounces, but that's reasonalbe and the quality is very good and 12.50 is the cheapest I've found for a gram. Half an eigth there cost us 23.50 including tax. The guy working there was a personal trainer who doesn't medicate, and it's a very clean and professional environment. I don't think they grow there either, but they have the same prices as Cannabis Therapeutics where they do grow, so that tells you who has the patient closer to their hearts.
The really good deals on high quality organic medicine come from caregiver cooperatives. There's one in denver called C3 initiatives (they do other stuff too so make sure you ask for Miranda before you start asking direct questions). They will sell an ounce from their own inventory for $280, or introduce you to growers who can sell it to you for $250. There is a similar organization in Pueblo which retails an ounce for $200, but they have no Sativa strains. They do have very high quality indicas though.
Check out your PM as well if you can find it! More useful info there.
