Should I untie my plants before going to flowering and if so, how soon before going to flower should this be done? If left tied during flowering should this be done the whole time until harvest? Thanks upfront for any advice!

most recommend that you stop LSTing two weeks prior to starting flower. i'd say remove the string. i use landscaping wire to LST mine, but i remove them all before flower. you can always re-tie as needed.

keep in mind that your plants will double to triple in size (possibly more). anywhere you have a tie when the plant goes into flower risks damaging stems and whatnot.
