Yo. Id like to start by saying nice place here. I happen to be surfing the google-net lookin up info on tiny grows and stumbled upon a couple threads here. Read them through and decided this was the place to go for support.

Ive never had much of a grow before, had a plant that got about three inches tall, but i lost my place and had to move in with parents so i had to toss it . Now i got that bogus crap taken care of and im ready to try and grow again!

Ive got very limited space, and a fairly small budget. I estimate i have maybe a two foot space, maybe a little more. Ive got quite a bit of bag-seed to make sure things are working right, and i plan to keep growing and modifying things as i go for a very long time. And i only plan to have one plant at a time, maybe two if i can keep them small enough.

I Honestly dont care about getting a good supply from them, Id settle for getting a single joint from a plant.

So here goes.

I have a couple Milk-crates that i can line with something like tinfoil to make a box out of. The milk-crate box would be extra small, maybe 1'x1'x1'. Well, 2' up if i put another on top and hinged it at the middle. This works well for me because i would LOVE to be camouflaged as much as possible (there is a window pointing right at where i can grow, and i have neighbors).

I also have access to limitless supply of cardboard boxes of random sizes... but i dont believe that would be a very smart idea, flammable and flimsy.

Any other ideas on that?


On the matter of soil... there is excellent dirt where i live, and i would most likely just use some from my yard, clean it of sticks and other crap, maybe put a little pea-gravel in with it?

And for pots... Since the space and the intended outcome is MICRO MINI, how would a plastic cup work? maybe a really big fountain drink cup cut to be shorter? Im not to sure on what to use here.

And for lights, this is my biggest downfall. I dont have much access to any sort of lighting, other then the sun and ceiling lights, so i would need to know what kind of things to buy. Remember to keep it extra tiny and preferably cheap.

For ventilation, depending on what i decide for the box. I have a rather large computer fan, no idea how to make it run on wall power (I have it running on 9v batts now). Again, if needing more, recommendations are great.

I cant really think of anything else offhand now...
