clones

im a Colorado Medical Marijuana patient i can have 6 plants, and my caregiver as well.

I have a few questions,

1.if i were to sign a lease so i would technically live at my caregivers apartment would we be able to grow my 6 plants and his 6 plants there?

2.do clones count as having a plant? When does it actually count, if i could i would get clones going so that i can have a clone ready to go once i crop out one.

the law, as i read it, states that you and your caregiver may 'collectively' grow six plants.
