I'll probably start from clone if my dispensary has any good ones; usually, they look kind of sad so I may start with seed if that's the case. I'll give my HPS a try- My hood is air cooled so hopefully I can get the light close enough so they don't stretch out too much.

When cutting my room size down could i simply run a string from wall to wall and fold some panda film over that creating a divider?

Will my plants survive vegging under a 600W HPS? OR...... I was looking at a two bulb t8 fixture from home D. would that offer anywhere near what I need?
