Seedlings not doing so well....add GH nutes?

My seedlings arent doing so well in thier humidity dome, some are straggling and the others are doing well but have some yellowing of the leaves. I think I put a few too drops of superthrive after reading seedlings get one drop per gallon. I flushed them and put them under cfls instead of my 90 watt UFO. Now reading my GH 3 part flora nutes, its says seedlings and cuttings get nutes @ 1/4 tsp / gallon. I thought it was only distilled water and a drop of superthrive for the 1st two weeks?? Rating: 5

Shit bro I think they took a turn for the worst when I took the dome off, they pretty much dried and shriveled up. 2 are ok but 3 will probably die. FML.

if your temps are up in the high 80s or 90s you need to make sure that they are getting enough water. don't over water. if they are seedlings the soil just needs to stay moist.

Im doing drip hydroponics. Should I go ahead and put them in there on drip and see what happens? They are just sitting in the tub now in rockwool and Im having to spray them often.

Shrivelling and drying sounds like you may not have caught the superthrive OD in time. Practice your germination technique on some crap bagseeds until you figure out what combination of water/nutes/mineral supplements/media you can safely use... IMVHO, for going into hydro directly from seed, RapidRooters are MUCH more forgiving. Stick the sprouted seed in, and virtually ignore it for a few days, just making sure it doesn't dry out- no pre-soaking or other fussing required.

Ha yeah I think two might be ok. I dont have bagseed, I smoke good shit, no seeds. I have a shit ton of rapid rooters so Im good to go.

Make sure your bottled water is distilled, and that you have your calmag, rather than water bottled for drinking, in which case it doesn't have to conform to any specific conductivity standards and can have dissolved metals in it.
Damn your tap water is atrocious. You live in a SuperFund site or summin? Dag, yo. Can you even SHOWER in that or does it come out of the tap in a slurry?

Whats up texas... Ive always been told to let the seedlings grow a few nodes under CFL or Flouro before you put them under the LEDs. I am just now starting to use LEDs and ive followed this advice with my first batch. Something about the LEDs being too strong for seedlings? Im not for sure but thats what I heard... might help you if you stay under the CFLs for a little while. Like I said I dont know if this is 100% true but you could try it... dont think it will hurt them anymore than they are... Good luck!

I raised the ufo up to about 2 feet, added like a 1/4 of the nutes on the bottles of GH and added them to my hydro system. Def more humid in there now and temps are sitting @ 85. Cant fuggin wait to get my northern lights in and do this shit right.

I figure my seedlings will die but put them in the hydro system as a last resort or a what the hell, might as well experiment. :rastasmoke:
