Usually a plant slows it growth as light intensity decrerases, so that would slow the flowering also. It will also decrease the yeild.
But if it is getting so little light that it's life is threatened it may decide to turn hermie (if it's female), that will get you a small spurt of growth and may shorten flowering time also. Added bonus of seeds and very low yield.
Probably not you wanted to hear, but hope this helps you anyway.

not enough sun????
yea i think your right.I did have one that went into flower fast i had low yeild and herme seeds. Not that i'm complaining.I'm just trying to figure why everything is happening faster than normal and i'm trying to time my flowering so i can flush.I think i got another one that has only flowered for 5 weeks and seems like all the trichromes are brown .They get about 8-9 hours of sun
