That's true, however, iron and calcium are secondar nutrients which are usually readily available, not something you need strong doses of. Many nutrient solutions contain them. Anyway, everyone has their own methods I guess. Side question, anyone have any bug problems from using this sugar water?, lol.

sorry, failed to answer the "sugar water" question. it's not sticky at all nor really sweet once it's been mixed.

LSY uses it outdoors with nary a problem.
