If some ppl think it helps, that's fine, but I think it's kind of like a placebo affect of sorts. There's also "the pill", which apparently works wonders, too. But I might actually believe that one, never know with hormones. Kind of curious to try it. Also, aspirin will turn a plant male in a hurry, though that's not usually helpful.
sorry, bud, but I can't disagree stronger :wtf: ... I guarantee, blackstrap molasses DOES produce bigger, denser buds  ... I don't recommend things, unless I've done 'double-blind studies' on it ... after growing indoors for over 40 years, and concentrating on only a handful of strains, trust me, if there's any improvement, I'll notice it ... I used to think it was only feeding the beneficial bacteria, but Stinky Attic (who is a chemist, among other things), explained it as a carbon-linked improvement ... I couldn't explain it like she did, I ain't a chemist ... but, if you're buying carbo loaders, etc., you're wasting your money, molasses does the same thing, near as I can tell ... and, I only have used it indoors, I would suspect that it 'may', indeed, attract insects ... also, I wouldn't use it as a foliar spray, as I think it might clog the pores ... I have used it in hydro, with no problems, whatsoever ... :smokin:
