    Will these work?

    Nurturelite 200w (Purple)

Will I be able to grow okay under these bulbs? How many plants could I grow? I only want to grow 1/2 plants to try out Aeroponics.

    Cheers, Smudge.

It would 'OK' for the first 3-5 weeks; during the seedling - vegetative light cycle.

For the flowering light cycle; you would need stronger light. (Like it says in the advertisement; the 200 watt purple bulb would be supplement to the HPS light)

Several CFL's bulbs would probably be cheaper and just as effective...IMO....to surround 1 or 2 plants, during the veg cycle.
