I decided to trap a raccoon last night....

I have a .22 that I am good with. Is it legal to shoot them?

I also have an airsoft pistol that has roughly 10% accuracy.

doubtful it is legal, except with a hunting license, and in season ... check with your Fish & Game headquarters, every state's laws differ ... if a nuisance, sometimes Fish & Game, will come out, and place traps for you, and haul them away ... (I think, then, they dump them in Killerweed420's yard )

its not hard to create the humane traps that can trap the raccoons without letting them escape.

locking trash lids? thats the most practical answer, or a place to keep them inside until trash day.

and what do you call a raccoon without rings?

I was kidding about shooting it. I've never killed anything in my life. I cried when my goldfish died.

Those bastards came back last night. I thought they were gone. Guess I'm gonna set it up again. Maybe I'll pour a glass of water on the ones I catch before letting them go. Anyone know what would permanently deter them?
