I decided to trap a raccoon last night....
I have a .22 that I am good with. Is it legal to shoot them?

I also have an airsoft pistol that has roughly 10% accuracy.

doubtful it is legal, except with a hunting license, and in season ... check with your Fish & Game headquarters, every state's laws differ ... if a nuisance, sometimes Fish & Game, will come out, and place traps for you, and haul them away ... (I think, then, they dump them in Killerweed420's yard

its not hard to create the humane traps that can trap the raccoons without letting them escape.
locking trash lids? thats the most practical answer, or a place to keep them inside until trash day.
and what do you call a raccoon without rings?

I was kidding about shooting it. I've never killed anything in my life. I cried when my goldfish died.

Those bastards came back last night. I thought they were gone. Guess I'm gonna set it up again. Maybe I'll pour a glass of water on the ones I catch before letting them go. Anyone know what would permanently deter them?
