blue cheese hermiehey guys went out to one spot today with the bluecheese grow.and i found one hermi out of 3...i found to medium size balls they did not open!!but i did pluck them off and i searched the whole plant as much as i could, was getting nervous with helicopter flying around....going back sunday mourning to recheck all 3 very good....

now only reason why i think it went hermi was because for a week i did not water them.and when i did finally get to them they were bone dry..so i waterd 3 gallons plus some superthrive then one gallon mixed with nutes then 2 extra gallons of just regular swamp water....

everything else is going just fine and stinky..

now what happens now since it is a hermi do i just keep checking every week and pluck the balls off..they wer only on one branch...so i marked it with a twisty-tie

any info would be cool thanks.and these are not feminized seeds...and breeder is barneysfarmmiddieman440 Reviewed by middieman440 on . blue cheese hermie hey guys went out to one spot today with the bluecheese grow.and i found one hermi out of 3...i found to medium size balls they did not open!!but i did pluck them off and i searched the whole plant as much as i could, was getting nervous with helicopter flying around....going back sunday mourning to recheck all 3 very good.... now only reason why i think it went hermi was because for a week i did not water them.and when i did finally get to them they were bone dry..so i waterd 3 gallons plus Rating: 5

blue cheese hermielook closely - here's a photo of a blueberry that went hermie on me this week-it is difficult to see the male flowers the way they are throughout the buds- look closely and goodluck- I jerked this one out of the ground- past experience has taught me if there is onemale flower you miss you will regret it!

blue cheese hermiehey mountain,i saw your thread about that the othr day...but mine didnt come out of the bud,but came out on the 1st node of the branch, kinda weird for me as 1 i never had a hermi and 2 always see the sacs on the bud when i look at pics..

could i possibly use the pollen and pollenate another plant diffrent strain to make fem seeds..

dont the breeders do this to make "femanized" seed

the stuff has to be usefull in someway??

and also my buds on the blue cheese have a purpleish.blueish tint on them what could this be its on all 3 plants here and there.i do not believe it to be rot,but the nights are cooler so maybe them temp change = color change....any thoughts

and also can dew cause bud-rot

blue cheese hermieI dont think breeders get there seeds from hermys. But growers do all the time. Just get it away from your plants in less you want em all seedy. Just put it in a pot away from your plants. Then when it flowers put a wet paper bag over the pollinated flowers and bang on the branch a bit, to get pollin to fall onto the bag. Then take the bag and put it around a lower branch thats got buds on it, then put a twisty tie around the end of the bag so no other pollin gets to your plant. When the bag drys, just bang on it a bit to pollinate your buds. Then carfully remove and disgard the bag. Then youl have femed seeds for next year. But, read up on this before ya try it as im no pro and have not tried it yet, but this is what iv read. I was hoping to get a hermy for this reason. Good luck man, id try it:thumbsup::rasta: Originally Posted by middieman440 Originally Posted by middieman440

Middie, I am no genetics expert but I do know this from experience- the hermie plant will pollinate intself and the seeds from that plant will be female , of course there will be a hermie trait in these plants also- I have planted seeds from my own hermies for years- you take a chance but I have found in my own grows that the percentage of hermies from these plants will be far less then the male to female ratio from regular seeds , you have to keep a close eye on them when in flower though-as far as your blue coloration -I have always had some plants with a blue color- ambient temperature and genetics- just enjoy that not all your bud will be the same- good luck with your project ---

blue cheese hermiethe BC just does that. there are a couple of little balls at the main stock at each node. i gave a couple of moms to friends that had those and they freaked out. ive done 3 runs with the BC and never had one seed but see those balls the whole way through. they contain no pollen or seed. youre good to go. ive only had a hermi once and that was OG from a looser clone guy. as far as i know a hermi seeds without pollen and there for there is no y chromosome, ie, no pollen sacks just female seed. but yes those seeds will produce hermi plants.
 hope that helps.
also, my BC is one of the easiest grows ever and my best yielder ever.

blue cheese hermiethanks for the info "icb"..but my all 3 of my bc dont look to be heavy yeilding, probably due to there crappy life they had when they wer little,,,as your other post about the yellowing..it couldnt be lack of nitrogen as i was feeding it 15-30-15 mg ferts...i think i either over did it or it happend due to i couldnt get out to water them for a week when he had hot dry weather....last time i had checked they where doing good slight yellowness but no im not worried about that...
