Did some digging for a few hours at an outdoor grow, in a location which turned out badly infested with Chiggers. These tiny red mites attach, then burrow a few mm into one's skin by releasing an enzyme which causes *severe* itching and redness. Then they linger inside their burrows and feed for a few days, further prolonging the misery. Chiggers prefer the soft skin close to the genitals, BTW. One or two of them are bad news. That evening whilst applying ointment, I counted 130+ of the little monsters. DEET prevents chiggers from attacking, but I forgot to apply it that day. That was a mistake which I never repeated.
udomlya Reviewed by udomlya on . Dumbest thing you've ever done Hi Yall. So today I was tending the new clones, wondering why they were getting yellow so fast on me, and so I turn my thermometer around and its 95 degrees in my dome. And I realize I hadnt checked the actual temp in probably 3 days. How did I not? No idea. Then I was watering, hit my head on the lamp and broke a piece of my light mover. Then I realized some of those little buttons on my timer got pushed in, resulting in a 15 minute dark period in the middle of the "day". Yes, I am a Rating: 5
