zandor, do you know if would it still work if the fill hole was sealed up straight after the gas bottle was empted into it, or does it need to be open to allow gravity to pull it down with out the tube forming a vacume and stopping the flow.

i was just wondering,
basing things on using 22mm or larger copper pipe and brass compresion fittings, sealed with gas approved ptfa tape,
if i were to fit a one way valve at one end of the tube, then fit a blank into its opening with a small hole drilled into it to fit the nossle of the gas bottle, and a blank at the other with a series of small holes at the other i could this use this valve to control the flow of gas escaping, if the gas would hang in the tube, do you think it would be possible to extract the same amount of oil using less gas. or would this complecate things, i was thinking of having a bash at this later in the year, i was just trying to save a few pennys,.... and lesson the risk of blowing myself up haha,

Look what i made i got the general idea from og oil extraction faq. i took a copper pipe and put an end cap on it. i drilled a tiny hole big enough to stick the tip of the butane in it. the other end is a hose clamp with screen attached. i stuffed it full of trim from the jar i keep and squirted a whole can of butane in it. use oven mits if you try it, that pipe turns freezing cold. dont smoke either, you will blow yourself up. then the juice drips out into a bowl, mine was a little green, but it looks like Rating: 5
