First timer to hydro ebb and flow setup.
I'm going to be setting up a 3x3 ebb and flow
Space: closet
Light: 600 watt Hps
Medium: hydroton
My plan will be to start my clones (done) in rapid rooters, using olivias (too late, this is spur of the moment, I already have the clones rooting) and after I setup the table (hopefully it'll arrive in next week) I will fill the tray with hydroton.
Question: anybody know the math of how much hydroton to fill a 35x35" tray?I still need hydroton and nutrients.
I am hoping for some guidance along the way or maybe just follow along.
I'm flat ass broke but I have a light, blowers, fans.
No cash and no pots, I don't want trips to store for pots or rockwool, easy as possible. I'm pretty much out of weed and want to get the ladies in the tray!
Oh yeah, I have 3 different strains I wanna put in there.
Short skunkish jack herer
El niño
Topsecret (needs a better name)
I wanna use them cuz, well they're in my cloning tray.
I would have to wait another month at least to get enough to just grow one strain.
I basically want some nice weed for the holidays, ya dig? Well I'm almost out of weed, I'm pretty damn stoned.. From the old strain named top secret #2.
I have 14 clones evenly mixed but gotta make 2 mommies, probably lose the el niño.dichlorvos Reviewed by dichlorvos on . First timer to hydro ebb and flow setup. First timer to hydro ebb and flow setup.
ok this is workable as a setup.
What you need for hydrotron...2 50 liter bags should do. If you plan on making two of these mommies (I would put them in separate plastic pot from your local hardware store). Worth the 4 bucks. Transplanting would be near impossible from a 3x3 tray.
Start with VEG and go from there...Clone the strongest plants. Then get ready for flower time with the clones in the 3x3 tray. You got about 2 weeks of veg...and then 8-10 weeks of flower...So Merry Bluntmas!

Are all hydro shops crap? In person or online, hydro shops tend to have to worse customer service. I'm thinking I'll be tossing my clones in soil or soilless and hand watering, ordered my table, but still no word on shipping, no communication, man I hate hydroshops.
My clones rooted faster in a warm closet than one left room temp, 1 cfl+ box at 75-80, nice roots coming through in ten days vs 15-17 usually. Very healthy looking and they should be planted in something-
Is there a good medium I can stick them in for now that wouldn't require constant watering??
