I am actually doing this, using 4" net pots. Once clones are rooted, they go into the net pots, get filled with hydroton and onto the ebb and flow tray. I run the e/f every four hours for 15 minutes.

I'd like to take my clones in rapid rooters and just bury them in hydroton in square pots and try to fill the tray completely with the pots. I want to avoid open water in the tray and keep it out of direct light and to stay away from disposing of rockwool every cycle. It just seems like you always see rockwool in ebb and flow trays. I also want to be able to rotate the plants since I can't afford a light mover, and Rating: 5
