You can do that. Hydroton will take anything that is rooted. I use an ez-clone and plant bare Clone roots in hydroton. Just be easy with em. More you bruse roots the longer it takes to get seated. If your already in plugs just make sure the bottom dips the water. Also b1 helps with the transplant shock

I'd like to take my clones in rapid rooters and just bury them in hydroton in square pots and try to fill the tray completely with the pots. I want to avoid open water in the tray and keep it out of direct light and to stay away from disposing of rockwool every cycle. It just seems like you always see rockwool in ebb and flow trays. I also want to be able to rotate the plants since I can't afford a light mover, and Rating: 5
