Need advice from soil vets...Nutes
I do small personal grows, 2 to 6 female plants; max. Like I said; I start seeds in 16 oz cups. I use T-12 fluoro tubes (6500k) for the first 3 weeks of vegging....then, I switch to a 400 watt HID light. Since I use Miracle Grow moisture control potting soil, with 20% perlite mixed in; I don't really add any nutes, but, I do use a root stimulator (4-10-3) with each transplant. I use a moisture meter probe to tell me when the cup/pot is dry at the bottom, then I water. You must have excellent drainage in the cups/pots. I drill extra holes in everything.
After 4-5 weeks; I use a pinch of 20-20-20 (any dry, granular brand) vegging nutes mixed with a quart of water... IF, the plants look like they need it. I only add nutes every THIRD watering. Again, I only water when the pot/cup is bone dry according to my moisture meter.
During the flowering cycle I following the same pattern with 10-52-10 bloom/flowering nutes.
It's not really advice...it's just what I do...it works well for me. Good light, good temps, good fresh air ventilation = good buds...
Enjoy your grow...that's half the fun....the other half, is crippling..:stoned:
