    Need advice from soil vets...Nutes

Okay I am a little curious as to what size pots are idea to transplant in before I flower.? < Stupid question but hey looking for other growers idea of what works for them.

What are some good nutes to use for flowering, Really don't wanna be doing alot of mixing but will if no options.

O and just something I been wondering if your plant becomes rootbound will/could this increase your chances of it turning out male.?

Thanx for your time to stop by and leave a response.

i use 10inx10in pots and have no issues being rootbound also use humbolt nutrients from ecogrow.com and for your last question no if you grow female you get female unless you stress it to much then you'll possibaly get a hermie but its still a female

    1. I start seeds in 16 oz plastic cups

    2. Transplant to 6 inch pots after about 3 weeks vegging/or rootbound

    3. Switch to 12/12 flowering light cycle after 30 days or when plant is 12-16 inches tall or has shown it's sex

    4. When the plants show their sex; I toss the males and transplant the females into 10 inch/3 gallon pots.

    5. Harvest 9-11 weeks later...

I do small personal grows, 2 to 6 female plants; max. Like I said; I start seeds in 16 oz cups. I use T-12 fluoro tubes (6500k) for the first 3 weeks of vegging....then, I switch to a 400 watt HID light. Since I use Miracle Grow moisture control potting soil, with 20% perlite mixed in; I don't really add any nutes, but, I do use a root stimulator (4-10-3) with each transplant. I use a moisture meter probe to tell me when the cup/pot is dry at the bottom, then I water. You must have excellent drainage in the cups/pots. I drill extra holes in everything.

After 4-5 weeks; I use a pinch of 20-20-20 (any dry, granular brand) vegging nutes mixed with a quart of water... IF, the plants look like they need it. I only add nutes every THIRD watering. Again, I only water when the pot/cup is bone dry according to my moisture meter.

During the flowering cycle I following the same pattern with 10-52-10 bloom/flowering nutes.

It's not really advice...it's just what I do...it works well for me. Good light, good temps, good fresh air ventilation = good buds...

Enjoy your grow...that's half the fun....the other half, is crippling..:stoned:

As a general rule you want 1 gallon size pot for each foot of plant height. Usually 3 gallon is the smallest you should use.
