The first thing is to not spray water or nutes on the clones themselves. Just mist the inside of the dome with properly ph'd water only. The jiffy cubes will hold enough moisture without adding any more. Temperature control is one of the keys to producing good clones. I try to maintain a temperture of about 75 degrees inside of the dome or if in a EZCLONER 75 degree water temperature. I do not know how long it takes for the paticular strain you are cloning but I have seen it take as long as 20-25 days for some to root in jiffy cubes. The main thing is to be longanimous.
ditdotter Reviewed by ditdotter on . Help with clones Alright I have 4 females that are about 5 weeks into flower, Because i had my veg room full of other plants i couldn't take clones. I moved my other plants into flower therefore making room for some clones. I took the small tops from the very bottom of the plant and cloned them. I heard bad things about cloning flowering plants, but ive also heard that you can do it, it just takes a little longer to root. Ive got them in jiffy cubes and i used power clone rooting gel. Theyve been in Rating: 5
