Heard in CO that you can grow 12 plants if you need to ingest rather than smoke... how do I get this endorsement on my license?

I don't believe there is such an endorsement. The law allows for what is medically necessary, and a jury upheld this in the Jason Lauve case in Boulder County. The jury stated he could have had a ton and they would have acquitted. I think I remember he had 30 plants and 2 lbs, which was returned to him when he was acquitted.

It's not as comfortable having this available as an affirmative defense as it would be being stipulated... but the courts have already ruled in favor of allowing patients what they decide they need to supply their medication.

Thanks... I didn't know about the Boulder case... I wonder if that would also apply to clones vs plants... my theory has been.... the clones are there already, but can't live without roots. Therefore, a clone is not a plant until it can live on it's own (having roots). But, I would not want to be in the position of defending myself on those grounds. Do you have any insight on this 6 plant rule? I could always use the same argument... I need to raise many clones to end up with 2 healthy plants, selling back to dispensaries the extra clones. Same as would be done with a harvest, the excess is sold back to dispensaries. Like I said, I wouldn't want to defend myself on that logic. Any word on how the Boulder case will cross over to other areas of "what is medically necessary for me, in my opinion".?

Thanks... Learning something new every time I visit this site. So how are cuttings and clones looked at by the law in Colorado. Wondering if there is anyone with some actual experience with being visited by the cops... with extra cuttings... Law is one thing, how the cops apply their interpretation is another. Interpretation is the key. I am told by attorney's it's 6 period. Could this possibly hold up in court if you are caught with 6 plants and 6 cuttings from those very plants... for the purpose of propagation?
Any ideas or heard anything?
