And yeah, the licensing thing is crazy... I don't think it's a very wise move to plan to continue operations without a license. I guess some owners plan to be test cases! Doesn't seem too smart when the DEA and various local authorities and politicians are trying to make big-man stands. I'll definitely be sad if some of my favorite shops end up closing (either for a while or permanenty), but they've had enough time to take care of these things... you know it was coming. I hate the taxation and arbitrary licensing restrictions aspect (especially when the general fund is padded with the registry money... still haven't gotten my red card 4 months later) as much as anyone, but it's inevitable and it's pretty shocking that more owners haven't gotten their stuff together to at least apply.

The ones that sent everything in aren't even guaranteed to be accepted, so the number is even less than the 60-something that had applied earlier this week. For the sake of patient access, I hope something gives.
