I'm not saying you need the be a smelly person to be a hippie, its just that hippies are usually really smart people, deep thoughts.... I dunno, I've been dissapointed with people I've met that claim to be hippies... maybe I haven't met the right people........

i think hippies dont shower cause they dont see the need. i can go two or three day with out showering as long than im not do much activty. so its do that they like to be "stinky" we just see it as a waste of time if you dont need it. dont get me wrong some ppl need showers every day maybe two or three a day. shower as needed!

I'm a second-generation hippie. Among my stereotypical hippie traits: smoking tons of weed, loving the Floyd, not showering for days on end, having long hair, never shaving, definitely left of center (anarcho-communism left enough for ya?), and I call everybody "dude" and "man" regardless of gender.
