Are you saying that in the 6405N SAP 5-50 gc/ms test they don't even check creatinine levels unless it makes it to the gc/ms portion
The GC/MS is used only to confirm the presence of drugs and two types of adulterants: glutaraldehyde and pyridine. Creatinine is checked with a seperate colorimetric dipstick before the drug assay is performed. In some cases, labs would use a drug assay with integrated panels for creatinine, SG, pH, etc.

Color is not an accurate means to determine creatinine and SG levels. Even samples with a nice yellow color to them can still fall below the acceptable limits for creatinine and SG, and thus being ruled "too-dilute".
Burnt Toast Reviewed by Burnt Toast on . Yet another scenario for the pros to dissect Hi everyone, So here's the quick setup: I've been clean for a month and some days (since July 22nd). I took a home test on the 22nd of August to see where I was at, and I passed it with a pretty solid line (even though that doesn't matter, apparently). So today, I took my drug test for school at Quest, and even though I passed the practice test, I still foolishly decided to do the dilution thing, out of pure paranoia. Instead of drinking the mass amount of waters N2 suggests, though, I Rating: 5
