Number/Type of CFLs in 45 gal rubbermaid?
Bump. I'll probably buy two different sets of bulbs (6500K for veg, 2700K for flower), but damn it'll be expensive. Is there any cheaper way to mix them up? (For example, like half and half for the whole grow?)
thizzness Reviewed by thizzness on . Number/Type of CFLs in 45 gal rubbermaid? I"m about to start a new CFL grow in a 45 gallon rubbermaid container. The container is ~34" long and 19" wide. I already bought a couple bathroom light strips, with a total capacity for 8 bulbs. I am planning on growing around 4-6 plants, so my question is, what wattage CFLs should I use? I would like to just go with eight 42 W bulbs in the 5000K range, but I have a feeling that may be overkill (and not to mention expensive!). Rating: 5
