Just a regular honeywell desk fan. I don't know how I'm going to attach a carbon scrubber to it (which will probably be necessary once the girls get to flowering), but it should provide more than enough ventilation.

As far as lumens go, I'm guessing that I'll have around 4000/ft^2, which should be more than good for a CFL grow. But with color temps, would the plants grow well if I used a combination of both throughout the entire grow? Or would I need to buy a different set to use for each growth stage?
thizzness Reviewed by thizzness on . Number/Type of CFLs in 45 gal rubbermaid? I"m about to start a new CFL grow in a 45 gallon rubbermaid container. The container is ~34" long and 19" wide. I already bought a couple bathroom light strips, with a total capacity for 8 bulbs. I am planning on growing around 4-6 plants, so my question is, what wattage CFLs should I use? I would like to just go with eight 42 W bulbs in the 5000K range, but I have a feeling that may be overkill (and not to mention expensive!). Rating: 5
