My Mother is losing color on bottom leaves
sounds like a lack of light. the flouros don't get good canopy penetration.
you shouldn't need to water everyday. if the pot is indeed dry and in need of watering everyday, then perhaps it's time to transplant. how are you checking to see if they need watered?
just out of curiosity, what is your pH?

Your Equipment: .1) Type and wattage of lights. 2x 4' tube fluorescents (2x 40 watt full spectrum tubes in each fixture), 48 watt T5 HO fixture hanging above. .2) Distance from tops? close .3) Reflector type? the fluorescents are on opposite angles on the sides, and the t5 hangs above in a parabolic reflector. .4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply? Yes .5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? No exhaust at the moment, Rating: 5
