how would this work?

1000 hps light flowering room and Compact Fluorescent Grow Light Setup 125 watt for veg. each in a 6ft tall 2 1/2 ft deep 3 ft wide space.

wondering if the 1000 watt is too much for a small space but want to have that size for if i want a bigger space in the future.

i have a damn near exact same setup(attic). The flouro's will be fine (low heat output) Altough i use t5's and they work great. The only problem i have with the 1000 watter is that it runs hotter than shit. Cooling is going to be your biggest issue. A 1000 watt hps will light a 10x10 room enough to grow, and putting in a much smaller space just concentrates the heat and light. All i can say is watch your temps, because thats the biggest problem with me.

ohh yeah and try to keep them relatively short. I had a sativa pop up to damn near 40 inches(flowered at 12 inches). You could burn the shit outta of them with that light if they get too close. indicas in my opinion, are easier to grow.
