Volcano Help Please..
So I just got my volcano digi after owning a vapir one. I am very confused about cooling the 'cano down. After turning off the heater, are you supposed to leave the fan on to cool it? Or could you just let it cool with the heater and fan off? Also, what temp should I let it cool down to before I unplug it and pack it back in the box? Thanks in advance for the help!

the digital model has an auto shut off..... after 15-20 min no use....it will shut itself off
the heating element is never exposed or hot enough to start a fire..... you will never reach the temperature of cumbustion with the volcano so you cant start a fire
to cool it yourself just turn it off...wait about 5 mins and your ready to store it:hippy:

So even though after 5 to 10 minutes the display reads around 230f its okay to just unplug it and put it away? My vapir used to cool down to 90f in around two minutes.

Yes you can pack the Volcano away within a few mins of unpluging it. I have owned my digi Volcano for a few years now. I only pack my Volcano up when I want to use it at a friends house, and I usually unplug it once I fill the last bag we gunna "smoke" and once the bag is empty, I pack my Volcano back in the box (styrafoam and all) and have NEVER had any problems (and yes I know I need to get a travel bag or box for my Volcano instead of the box).
As far as a good temp to use you 'cano at, I usually start around 335 and adjust up from there (usually ending around 360-380 to "kill the "bowl". I usually never go higher then that since I like to use the Vapoo to cook with).
Hope this helps:thumbsup:
