New flowering setup .. getting a cycle going :)
Hey ya'll
Been a few weeks since I last posted whats up with my family..
Mum was grown, harvested, dried and cured.
http://boards.cannabis.com/closet-ca...-thoughts.html
she ended up handing me just under an oz at her end.
The entire last grow was vegged and flowered under a 400w 3700K std Metal Halide
I'm going to still be using this setup with a brand new bulb for veg
Cuurently there are two clones from her taken 3rd week into flower, attempting to reveg, they ain't looking too flash atm but I'm hoping this will come down to the facts they've just been transplanted, and the new medium is a bit high in N.
A flush or 2 will sort that. Currently under the MH
The pics are to show the new custom built (BY ME!!) fixture you see before you
It contains:
6x40w Warm White Osram Lumilux 830's @ 3350lm each
10 x 20w Philips Warm White (3000K) CFL's @ 1350lm each
Total of around 440w consumption and out put of around 33600lm @ 3000 kelvin in an area of (4'x1.5') or 6 square ft.. thats 5600/square ft
Any opinions on whether this produce decent yied?
I would have thought this more than sufficient
On to the next question??
Also as you can see in the pics.. there are 2 seeds just germinated..
these are from mum who decided life was at an end and spat a couple male flowers and humped herself into fertilisation
Does that mean these few seeds I have will be fem??Jungl3Jim Reviewed by Jungl3Jim on . Thought I'd mention that 2 clones in the pics are tied down atm, I'm attempting the age ol "grow em round the pot" method.
Seems to be working so far
The room is only 1000mm high, thats why I'm LST'n these ladies
BTW
the room is 1300mmX600mm.. the fitting is 1200mmX500mm
This leaves me a good 50mm/2inch's all round for a bit of airflow.. (+ fans obviously)
Ran a trial in the new room last night with all lights on, and no fans running to check what the temps might climb to in case of fan failure of something.. at full temp.. it only reached 91deg F.. not too bad.. left everything off overnight and the temp dropped to 63deg F.
28 degree jump with no ventialtion, air flow control etc.
I figure once the fans/vents etc are in place I'm going to be able to keep this area pretty damn stable
Thanks again to everyone...
...without your advice and tips, I wouldn't have made it this far.. :weedpoke:
