Right before harvest, much of the old crop is gone and the new hasn't come in. Happens every year, some years are worse than others! Indoor growing has helped, but it is a fall ripening crop. Next year, buy an extra bag and stash it in back of the freezer.

Granny knows precisely why you're dry, same thing happens in New Zealand for two weeks every October (Moved from San Fran after high school 3yrs ago). Once the outdoor seasons have been over for a certain amount of time the market has to turn to indoor growers only and the reserves good conscientious grasshopper growers stash in their freezers. Almost no matter where you are this period may be a short issue over a few weeks or a dire drought that effects a multi-state area.
In short, grow your own, ain't that hard if you're not stoopid:thumbsup:
