Tested today!! Did I join the club?

So i had 24hr notice to take the test. Stopped smoking 15 days ago, and home tests show a very faint line.

Not wanting to chance it, I grab my buddies older QuickFix 4.0. Got the temp to about 100, wrapped a heat pack, stuffed it under the boys and off I went.

Emptied the QF in the container they gave me(which had a temp strip on it). Temp looked like about 100/98 still. Blew on it and gave it a swirl or two.

Handed it to the nurse who then put it in another container, sealed it up, put it in a plastic bag, and I was out the door.

I got my fingers X'd. This was for a pre-employment UA so I dont know how far they will take the screening. It was at Quest Labs btw.

Still very nervous, but feel that the sub was the way to go.

If so, what batch number do you have? (printed at upper-left corner of the instructions sheet)

unfortunatly i do not. I know it was kept out of sunlight and never heated up. He has had it for less than 2 yrs. The sample didnt have any stringyness(sp) to it. So i'm kinda hoping for the best.

I was givin very short notice. I was not expecting a test for a few more weeks and did not get a chance to get a new version

Too bad you didnt. Because you shouldve checked the batch number on the instructions sheet. QF 4.0's with batch numbers ending in 03 thru 06 are recalled by Spectrum Labs and should not be used for the U/A. Heres hoping that your QF batch was not one of those.

Just wanted to post my update.

It's been just over 2 weeks since my test and have not heard back saying I failed.

I have recieved paperwork and a phone call from my soon-to-be new company welcoming me to the team.

I am feeling prety confident. 32 days clean so far but I cant wait until 10/1 to toke up a lil bit.

I'll update again after/if I do start my new gig.

You can order from Spectrum Labs urineluck website, but they wont ship to certain states. If you live in a "banned" state, try the detoxforless website.
