Urgent help needed guys

big problem with my yield as its cut down and has been stored wile slightly damp, a white mould or fungus is forming and its a nice smoke 2

i know to dry it but id welcum any other help or suggestions .. thanks guys in advance

get rid of anything with mold on it. it can make you very sick or worse.

when did you harvest? did you dry it first or? what is it in now?

ok its been cut down still damp , i know i have to dry it but i need other ideas there is too much to throw away,


wats worst can happen ive smoked bit of it already and its nice stone ,,, too much to throw away. need to fix it so its smokable ..
wats best way to dry without losing weight ????

What's the worst that can happen?

1.) You can culture mold and fungus inside of your lungs that can kill you even while being administered strong anti-fungal medication. Case and point: Fatal aspergillosis associated with smoking contam...[Chest. 1988] - PubMed Result

2.) You can develop an irreversible bronchial condition

3.) Allergic reaction to mold or fungus can kill you before you can get help

Please don't smoke any more of that moldy weed. You might be able to extract the THC using the ISO technique or some other way but don't smoke it!

There is no way to avoid a reduction in final weight when drying buds. This is because drying means becoming devoid of any and all water left in the plant material. The loss in weight you notice after buds are dry is the lost water weight. Weighing wet buds is a false reality.

A lot of us have been there, and it sucks. But is smoking moldy homegrown worth the possibility of long term side effects preventing you from smoking ANYTHING without removing your oxygen tube?

Likely the bud you smoked hasn't done much. Do not use that experience to fool yourself into thinking one more bud would be ok too.

Mold spores are mobile, so trying to cut the mold off, and keep the 'good parts' is likely a bad idea too. Seriously...trash it and clean your growroom or wherever it's been with an isopropyl alcohol solution. (1 cup water:1 cup alcohol) This will kill the mold spores, and it's cheap.

Make sure you're around for the next grow. :thumbsup:
