very helpful organization in the state. they have a ton of resources. i would personally just suck it up and straight ask my doctor; worst case scenario, i'd find a new pcp. you obviously have a debilitating condition which requires treatment, and make sure you mention to your doctor any concerns you have with conventional treatment (aka pills) such as liver damage, dangerous side effects, and threat of addiction.

i just became a registered caregiver in ri. can't wait to start aiding people who need it most.
