HELP.... BUGS.... TROUBLESHOOTING FORM ATTACHED
I have an infestation of little flies in my garden. they seem to be coming form the inside of my res. about 2 weeks ago i had a spill on the floor in the room, and the floor is old and wooden so it kinda got waterlogged. ever since i noticed these little flies. at irst there were only a ew, but now theres tons and theyre eating at my leaves. some one please help.
What is your experience level? first timer
Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights.400 w HPS
.2) Distance from tops? 2 ft
.3) Reflector type? industrial style(clear)
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?yes
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan?no open intake and exhaust, standard standing oscillating fan blowing out
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?400 watt, kilvin idk, 18/6
Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil Hydroton
.8) Size of container. 5 inch
.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings?rockwool cubes
Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water? tap What's it's ph before adjusting? 7
11) Method of checking water ph. ph test kit w indicator soultion, no strips
12) Method of adjusting water ph. phosphoric acid

21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? 75f 50-60%...With lights off?not sure, will update

Are they fruit flies? Do you have pictures of these flies?
I would start out by putting up a couple rolls of fly tape around your rez/plant

dude your sweet, you filled out the form for bugs. without pics of em its hard to tell what they are.
in veg id hang a no pest strip for 24 hours to a week depending on what im killing , i do and when i come in everything is dead.

i think they are fungus gnats. they have a greyish back on them. im going to give my res a good scrub with H2O2 and im gonna stick up some fly traps. hopefully i will get rid of these bastards

this sounds weird but it works GREAT on ALL bugs. take 5 or 6 used/smoked thru cigarette butts and put them in a spray bottle half full of water, let it brew for a while, then spray entire plant if they are in flowering stage be sure to rinse off after a day or so. do this until bugs are gone. be sure to flush plants with distilled water for a week or so before harvesting. if not rinsed and flushed buds will taste harsher. hope this helps bro:jointsmile:
