Preflowers showing! But I think it's a male. Can anyone help?!?
So I started another little plant outside to experiment with, but i planted a week before natures 12/12 cycle so my plant is already showing preflowers. I didn't want to mess with it while it was flowering so I left it alone until this morning. I took a better look at the preflowers and to me they look like little pollen sacks. Actually everything about them is giving me the impression that they are males. But before I chop it down I was wondering if any of you could tell.

Preflowers showing! But I think it's a male. Can anyone help?!?
I planted july 17th and the longest day here is july 22nd so I assumed that was when it started 12/12. I think it is in 12/12 otherwise the preflowers wouldn't be showing too but I'm still new to this and I could be wrong. And thank you all for the input. I just fimmed the plant so I'm going to wait it out for another week to see if I fimmed correctly and to make sure it is a male. After that I'm cutting the bitch down and I'm going to make a salad haha but I'm going indoors within the next few weeks and a few weeks never killed anyone.... hopefully. :rasta:

now the longest day of the year is the summer solstice which is about 15 hrs daylength. 12/12 is the autmnal equinox which is around sept. 22nd where Im at. Preflowers have nothing to do with 12/12. They show pre flwoers when they are mature but they FLOWER when 12/12 comes.

PEOPLE!!!! I dont know why everyone gets caught up in the 12/12 cycle talk? That is for indoor. I am pretty sure this is the outdoor section of this forum. 12/12 has nothing to do with your plants showing flowers or balls or anything else when they are outside!!!!
