:stoned:ummm so my set-up it pretty damn simple if you ask me. i've got two 100w sunglow bulbs in a homemade box lined with aluminum foil to prevent light leaks. and i have a small low powered fan for air curculation. right now i'm not sure what i'm growing, it was just a bag of mixed up seeds.
i have pictures but i can't figure out how to get them on here =/Hitmanhall Reviewed by Hitmanhall on . First things first, welcome and I hope you learn a lot from this first grow, you can call me SMG. Nice to meet you man.
One thing you should do right away is get rid of your tin foil and light proof your box with duct tape on the outside. Paint the inside of it white or tape up a bunch of white pieces of printer paper. Tin foil is bad at reflecting light the way you intend it to and will end up creating hot spots in your box (BAD!).
Peace,
SMG

Hey man, also, if my research is accurate, your bulbs only punch out 1750 lumens each...if I'm right about your bulbs, which you can confirm or deny, you are going to need a lot more light. At a bare bones minimum, you want 5000 lumens per sq. ft. of grow space...keep that in mind. In addition, the temperature of your current sun glo bulbs are generally used for flowering, not vegetative growth. Check out this link for information on what temperature of light to use when: Vegetative/Flowering Perfect Kelvins? - The Garden's Cure
Peace,

Unfortunately, I'm not too good with the whole electronics bit...I really need to get some experience under my belt with that stuff...You'll have to wait for another expert to chime in to help with hooking all of that stuff up...
Sorry mate...
