Looking for info on state laws

Where can I find state by state laws and statutes on growing.
I'm new to this and have made a promise to myself that I'll be doing this for my own personal (I'm sooo sick of shitty dirt weed and having to act grateful for the oppertunity to pay too much for it) use only...no selling. But I still wanna know going in...what the ramifications are if something happens.
