I was reading that you were switching the plants to the 600 watt for the warm feel just before flowering. I am growing a hybrid of the MK Ultra now and took the advice to use a 400 watt after cloneing. I was dissapointed and switched back to the 600 watt bulb with a Lumitek immediately when into the vegitative. I noticed a great difference.

I don't have as much experience as you but I thought it would be of interest if I could be the test subject. It did not hurt my fully rooted clones and gave me very robust 12 to 15 inch plants in 14 to 16 days. I flower them from there as I must, due to limitations of height.

Hope you are well and thank you again for the great pictures and information.

Thanks OV!!!,and don't worry about the job thing...I've been a union journeyman in the constuction trade for 21 years and not once did I not make my hours...Layoffs are part of the biz man...If I was worried I wouldn't be shootin' upstate, lol!!!

I'm not familiar when the Lumitek...I've heard of it though and I'm sure it's a fine light...I'm a little suprised to hear your 400 wasn't doing a good enough job for veggin...

I start off with a 200WATT CFL for new plants...I then use a 400WATT EYE Hortilux Metal ACE Conversion bulb for most of the veg...Next is a 600WATT SunMaster MH Conversion bulb that might outlast me as I use it only a week out of every grow, lol!!!This is just to help ease the transition into flowering that will come within a week when they're flipped to 12/12 with a 600WATT EYE Hortilux Super HPS bulb...

Wishin' you a trouble free grow and an abundant harvest OV!!!

PS...If height is a factor I can't recommend SweetSeeds JACK47 enough...Short uniform plants that kick ass!!!I have a journal here somewhere...

cant wait to see them flowering
I water from the top until I get runoff most of the time...If I'm going to be away a short while as I'm about to be,I'd rather my "plant-sitter" feed em from the bottom,as there's less room for mistakes...

I fed em Alaska Fish Fertilizer and Botanicare Sweet today...I like the Alaska as they near the end of veg...MaxiCrop Liquid SeaWeed is awesome veg food as well, throughout the veg cycle...

Excellent questions fourkicks...Thanks again man...

40 days veg and slurpin' Alaska Fish Fertilizer...
