Well I always wanted to be in the military because I'm from a military family (my Dad was in the Navy, my Brother the Marines and my Grandfather was in the Army). But then I got cancer and figured I was fucked.

So a few months ago I got a call from the recruiter to take the ASVAD(hope thats how you spell it). I told him I had cancer but he said I was good because of the whole 7 year remission thing. So I took the test and got a 86 and when he asked me what I wanted to be I said MP. It pays well and I believe I will be good at it.

I really want to make a difference and I believe I will be doing something productive with my life by doing this.

i know what you mean, i felt the same way. its a good decision, the military opens up a lot of doors. you'll make some great friends along the way as well.

Eh' guy probs. I'm single again and it's weird haha.

Plus school and work. But I'm back and really glad.

Yeah before I left they were cracking down a bit on things.

I dunno regardless I still love this place.

Welcome back Rebgirl. Your opinions have been missed. After the technical problems with this site, I think a alot of people moved over to the "other" site. I see many recognizable names over there.
