Obama cracking down

Need to step in carefully here. I did get busted this year by a forest ranger in the national forest. I was not growing I was just driving through to get to my private property. I am on a island of land surrounded by the national forest. I have to drive through 10 miles of national to get to my gate and sanctuary. I used to wave to the rangers and try to be friendly but now I just avoid eye contact. I was driving to my place and the ranger came roaring up behind me. I pulled over to let him pass and he stopped. He said the reason he stopped was because he smelled marijuana and was going to search my truck. This was a lie since I had not been smoking and my truck smells like my dogs. Anyway he took 80 grams I had and gave me a ticket. He said my license was invalid because we were on federal land. I let him know that the president had indicated that the federal government was going to leave people alone if they were legal in the state. He said if I was going to argue he would take me directly to jail in San Francisco. So I said I was not arguing I was just telling him what I heard and go ahead and give me the ticket. I had to go to federal court in Eureka 350 miles away not SF which is 50 miles away. Now I have to stay out of trouble for 3 more months and I will have no record. I hired a lawyer ($1100) to get that deal.

I saw several helicopters early in June which is unusual but I have seen few choppers since. That is unusual in my area. I usually see a heli once a day. I wear cammo and run for cover even though I have my license and it is "supposed" to be legal.

I believe the feds were just pissed about what obama had to say so they just took it upon themselves to get mean. I don't count the busts against the cartels as having any meaning. They are totally illegal. The only purpose they serve is to distract the choppers from my grow.

Actually we are getting less copters in Humboldt than ever. In Mendo they have had it pretty rough the last few years but Humboldt is one of the safest places to grow these days. CAMP only goes after large mexi grows on BLM, timber company land , and state and national parks in Humboldt. They are not concerned with people growing on their own private property. You would have to be going huge to even get noticed by them around here. . .

Anyone who thinks for a second that voting another senator into the white house is a recipe for change has their heads so far up the media's ass that they can't see their own collective nose. Private jail contractors are one of the biggest growth sectors right now. If you want to make money hand over fist, find the corporations that build jails and invest. They NEED to fill those jails. We are allowing the government to run rampant and grow beyond what is healthy for it's population. They will eventually create a simpler way to tier society and make more profit off the lowest, off the grid sector. This will lead to prison cities. Everyone of you who voted rather than starting a grass roots revolution to reduce the power of the federal government will have paid for your own incarceration by white guilt. Congratulations. Thanks Boaz for the kind words. I am hoping someone mellow will get the 20 acres next to me. So we still have more room in Nor Ca for legal grows. Anyway the season is still on for me for at least 1 more month. I still have to pump water to keep up with the current triple digit temps.

I just hope some of the directives come down from above specifying that folks who are legal in the state should be left alone. At least the choppers are only funded until about mid October then they stop flying.

Of course being surrounded by the national forest is a good thing. We have huge amounts of wild life and about 1 million trees on our property.:smokin:
