Plants STOLEN!
last night i went to my grow sight and saw that my 5 budding girls were gone. it sucks and i know it is way late in the season but i have some seeds left over. would it be a waste to start some more in a different location? i am planning on starting fifteen more that will hopefully get about a foot too two two feet tall and then bud. i know the yield will be small but if i have enough plants it could add up... anyone think this could work?

i do live in southern cali. august, september, and october is basically our summer here...at least that is when it is the hottest. i know the plants wont get very big. i just want them to be about 1 to 2 feet any plant smaller than that would not be worth the time and effort. do you think they will get that big?

I would say you def. want to give it a try. I've had to do the same thing this season, except where I'm at by now it's too late because the first frost can hit early.
1st off When does the first frost in your area hit? In some parts of Cali the first frost doesnt hit until Dec. If thats the case where you're at that gives you Sept. Oct. and Nov. which is more than enough time IMO. Just make sure where you're the plants will be receiving enough photoperiod, which throughout early Nov. shouldn't be a problem. The only thing you would want to avoid is plants with a long flowering time because that might push you beyond your window.
With 1 month of veg. and roughly 2 months of flowering you should be ok. The plants will start to flower as soon as they are mature enough because they'll almost immediately notice the rapidly decreasing hours. After a month they should be about a foot tall and once they go into flowering they'll double or triple in size. I personally have always assumed that late plantings flower more rapidly in a last attempt to "catch up". With 15 plants you would still have a decent harvest.. definitely better than nothing.\"The only thing constant in the universe is change. If you\'re up you\'re going to be down tomorrow. yes i think i am going to i have nothing to loose and their is no reason to save these seeds. i will get some pictures up once i start them. i am going to germinate them right after this post. the frost in my area does not come until dec usually sometimes late november but i think i will be ok i figure i will have around 7 to 10 females and if they are all over a foot tall my yeild should be ok. thanks for the help i will keep you posted.
