2nd Log 5th Grow, Nirvana AI and Bubblelicious

This is my second grow log, I ditched the first log after lots of chaos with my plants. Though this is my second log this is not my second grow. I purchased Nirvana Aurora Indica and Bubblelicious Female seeds. Right now it is currently 1 week since my seeds have popped and the plants are on the second set of leaves not (counting tear drop leaves). I am using miracle grow soil, I have some Big Bloom to add when I enter the flowering stage of the grow. The Pics that I have are 3 days old, I will try to post pictures twice a week. Though I am only a novice grower I have tried new training technique every grow, however this grow I will probably not train the plants.

(Side note) I know space is limited so i keep my plants very short the tallest plant I have grown so far was 30 inches from soil to top. I would greatly appreciatte any ideas on how to get a greater yeild from my plants, so far i have averaged an ounce or less each grow.

Wow so I have already started to slack on this grow log but I promise this is the last time. The second week of this grow proved to be very eventful. The plants are doing great but with a 70hr. work week it was tough to give the love that they deserve, but they did get love. I wish I had some current pictures that I could post up but all I have are pics from the first week. I will definetley get on the ball and get more pics.

I plan to keep my plants in the solo cups for one or two more weeks depending on how much they grow. From there I will transplant them into there final homes 1gallon pots yes I know not very big, but again limited for space. I have a few options for the medium that I will be using for the transplant. Option 1: I currently have the plants in miricale grow and have more of it to use for the transplants. Option 2: My family has recently purchased some loom and it looks great would this be ok to us as a transplant medium. Things that I am concerned about are mixing the loom with mirical grow. Could this be potentially harmful? I would assume it wouldnâ??t be the case.

I figured if I use the loom I can add my own nutes to it and maybe get a bigger harvest. With the mirical grow soil it seems like I am not getting the bang for my buck that I had in mind. Has anyone had expierence with adding nutes to the soil as apposed to mirical grow soil?
Below are pics of the plants at the end of 1 week.

New Pics will be up tomorrow. I think on the lower leaves on all my plants maybe some chemical burn from the miracle grow soil. There are no burn marks or yellowish orange spots on the upper leaves which is a good sign. My babies are doing exactly what I want them to do and thats stay nice and short. I think the tallest is 4in and the nodes are very close which is great and hopefully it will stay like this through out the grow.

I think I will let the plants veg 1 1/2 weeks more before transplanting them into their final homes.

It's the third end of the third week since my plants have sprouted and they are looking pretty good. They are staying very compact which is perfect and exactly what I want them to be doing. As I promised I took some pictures of the little girls(female seeds), the bubblelicious is doing a lot better than my last time with it. Last grow the bubblelicious was a very slow plant and finished 4 weeks from when she should of. can really see burns on leaves in indivdual pics only the group pic

P.S. I went to barnes&noble today to find a good book and came across a book by I believe Mel Frank titled marijuana growers guide. Does anyone know if the book is useful? I skimmed through, it seemed a little out dated(color version repub. in 1997) and dealt with mostly outdoor growing issues. Any suggestions or has anyone read it?

Last night I bought some pretty good exotics $60 for an eighth got me hi as a kite. Later on I decided that I was going to log in a little notebook for personal use all the types of weed I have smoked. In the log I put the date, name of strain if any, Description of bud, scents, how I smoked it, taste during smoke and after effects and feeling when finished. I know I am forgetting one more thing I'll check my book later for the category.

Earlier today I got to take some shots of my plants and they are doing great. I am definetley considering some LSTing, I want to increase my yield by as much as possible. This will be my last grow until I move into my new place. Its time to the leave the nest and move out. Back on track though the pics look great and as promised here are the beginning of the week pics. I will post the end of the week pics friday or saturday.

So I've been having some trouble with my plants some of the lower leaves on the bubblelicious seemed to have some black spots on them then shriveled an died. This happened to me before with this strain in my last grow. I have tranplanted all three plants and has seemed to of mad a big difference. I will have some pics out asap and if anyone could tell me whats wrong with them or if they are fine now and have they gotten rid of the nasties that were effecting them.
