I have tr-yd 6 in one rubbernaid 2 were male and ended up with 4 females but they were to crowded. I would do the 6 buckets and set up 1 resivore to control all 6 sites. its allot less work when you use one res that way you don't have to pick up each bucket to check the Ph.

Sorry but unless you have a recirculating sytem with a pump you still have to check each bucket. Not just the main rez.

The most important part is left out of the equation here. The size of your flower room. If your room is small go rubbermaid. If the room is big go 5 gallon buckets. If you go buckets I hope you have a big light. Go to the grow logs and find one that suits your size room.

As far as water. You start your cuttings in a cloner or rockwool or jiffy starters. In DWC the water should be right at the bottom of the net pots for rooted clones and then you can drop it just a little when the roots hang in the water.

That size room and 6 plants. Go buckets and a 1000 HPS. If you can get a chiller the temps can be higher. Otherwise you need A/C. Water temps should be kept around 70 degrees. Max oxy in water at 68 degrees.

There is one here who runs higher temps but he uses tap water with some chlorine in it. My tap water is sooo bad if I mix one gallon of chlorine water with 4 gallons R/O it kills the shit out of my plants in a week.

Most of the time higher rez temps means root rot.
