it reduces transpiration. the newly forming roots don't have toinitially support as much leaf.

...plus it restricts foliar growth while roots are forming. (that's a good thing)

Tisn't always necessary, but it can be done as preventative measure. :thumbsup:

Thanks, Headshake. The dog is some sort of bird dog mixed with pit bull. My daughter-in-law's ex thought the cropped ears would look cool. :wtf:
