    Seedsman Northern Lights - WTF?

I ordered a package of Northern Lights seeds from Seedsman at dope-seeds.com some time ago. I've never grown Northern Lights before, but I'm pretty sure the plants aren't supposed to look like this. Actually, I'm damn certain the plants aren't supposed to look like this. I grew two other strains at the same time, thankfully, (Mandala's Satori and Greenhouse's Arjan's Ultra Haze #1) and they both came out just fine. Initially I thought the disparity might have something to do with the fact that the so-called Northern Lights plants were started from seeds and the others were clones, but I took some clones from the "Northern Lights" plants and they shot up to about four feet tall in about four weeks, with their added height consisting of almost entirely stem. On the bright side, these plants were remarkably easy to clone, but unfortunately I can't see myself doing that again in the future.

This sucks because I was really looking forward to having some nice northern lights to smoke and instead it looks like I have the progeny of Mexican brickweed bag seeds. I'm not sure what's up with Seedsman, but they'd better get their shit together if this is what passes for Northern Lights with them. Not that I'd ever order from them again anyway. This is my first bad packet of seeds ordering from dope-seeds.com, and the seeds came in a nice sealed Seedsman-branded packet, so I'm going to assume the Dope-Seeds people aren't the ones at fault.

The first picture is of two of my "Northern Lights" plants. The other is a closeup of the buds on my best plant from this packet of seeds.

NL does not have leaf structure like the pictures posted. The leaves of NL are much wider. NL that I grow from seed or clones indoors stays short; 30 inches or shorter, with a compact christmas tree shape.

It looks like the crappy sativa everyone used to give away as freebies. Glad I saw your post because I was just considering getting some NL from Seedsman; guess I'll avoid the place until they straighten out the packet contents/labeling issue.

    Seedsman Northern Lights - WTF?

Hey, I by chance stumbled upon your thread and I just want to let you're not alone with the Seedsman Northern Lights. It was such a shame for me to flower these and find out they were not at all northern lights, especially since this was the first plant I had ever flowered.

I'll attach a pic so that you can see I had the exact same genetics. The smoke was alright, but really I was rather disappointed.
