best place in LA/Pasadena for consultation?

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a medcard for depression/ADD, but I have a couple questions.

First of all, where's the cheapest prescribing doc that you know of around the Pasadena, Burbank, or Glendale area? The only places I know of are MediCann and MediMar. MediCann is far away and out of my price range. I could probably get to MediMAR, but I don't know how much they charge.

Second, I'm planning on bringing in a couple prescription bottles for Zoloft and a letter from my current doctor, which should be enough. But will they still have to contact my current doctor? She's a family practitioner, and I'm not sure if she'd be down with it.

In California, I have spoken to patients who show up to an office, check in, see someone (may or may not be a doctor) for 2 minutes and leave with a recommendation without ever providing a stitch of evidence that they were even sick. I had a 51 year old patient this week (in the entertainment businessâ?¦ you will understand why this is relevant in a minute) who received a recommendation in Huntington beach that was signed by a â??Dr. Harrisâ?�. However the man who provided him with his recommendation was NOT Dr. Harris. Amazingly, this individual gave my patient his business card and told him â??if you ever need someone to act I am looking to make it in the business.â?�
When my patient got home and looked at this mans websiteâ?¦ it turns out that the â??doctorâ?� he met was actually a MALE GAY PORN ACTOR. I canâ??t make this stuff up.
