heating problems! all advice welcome =)
You've got to have cooler air forced over the bulb to lower the temperture of the light. This can be done by having a enclosed hood or a cool tube with a high velocity fan attached by a flexable aluminum hose sucking cooler air over the bulb and then venting the hot air outside of the grow room area. By doing this you will lower the temp of both the bulb and the light fixture. A regular house or window fan will not get the job done, all you'll be doing is blowing around hot air inside the grow room.
